Fernando Perini is a Senior Program Specialist at Canada’s International Development Research Centre (IDRC), where he coordinates the Open Data for Development (OD4D) Network.The OD4D Network aims to scale open data solutions that have been proven to work around. The OD4D Network is the permanent co-host of the IODC since its third edition, helping to coordinate a collaborative global open data roadmap and evaluate the State of Open Data. The OD4D network works with leading regional and local partners committed to the creation of locally-driven and sustainable open data ecosystems in developing countries. The program is hosted at the International Development Research Centre (IDRC), and co-funded by the Global Affairs Canada and Hewlett Foundation.
