Over the last years, the development of various specific devices and data processing tools have allowed the univocal identification of individuals advancing in order to determine patterns of behavior using them for many different purposes, both by the public and private sectors.

Recently, the problem has been addressed by discussing the need for specific regulations (for example the EU - GDPR), but the challenges about regulations are enormous.

In the technical panel, specialists and decision makers will discuss different ways of dealing with the protection of personal data, both from a perspective of public policies and legislation as well as technology and dissemination.
