Linterna Verde uses open source and social media investigation to support civil society organizations in addressing media manipulation and disinformation online. We are an independent, nonprofit organization. With funding from the Open Society Foundationa we have investigated a variety of subjects, from disinformation in Whatsapp during the last Presidential election in Colombia to how algorithmic media is shaping the public sphere.
